John D. McQueston currently works as a Commercial Real Estate Broker Associate with Campbell & Rosemurgy Commercial Real Estate in Deerfield Beach. John came to Campbell & Rosemurgy in 2009 was named Rookie of the Year. Over his 12 years John has produced over $126 Million in sales volume while achieving various top producing company sales awards. A Federal Hwy. transaction specialist, John has completed numerous transactions across retail, industrial and office properties including numerous land transactions.
John started his commercial real estate career in Philadelphia, PA with Jackson-Cross Company and later joined the Rubin Organization. In less than 3 years in the business John was responsible for sales and leasing of a portfolio of over 400,000 square feet of office and flex space and played a key role in closing 40 commercial transactions.
John’s other relevant work experience includes working as a Regional Marketing Director with Stewart Title Guaranty Company in the southeast region. In his role, John was responsible for growing business and market share across all market segments including builders and developers, lenders and realtors. Prior to joining Stewart Title Guaranty Company, John enjoyed a successful 13 year career in contract sales to builders and developers with Whirlpool Corporation in Philadelphia and Southeast Florida where John won numerous regional sales awards and was a 2003 Winners Circle national finalist.
In 2014 John served at the President of the Realtors Commercial Alliance with the Greater Ft. Lauderdale Realtors where he also serves on the Board of Directors and Director with the Florida Association of Realtors. In addition, John is an affiliate member with the Ft. Lauderdale chapter of CCIM. John’s other business organizations include the South Florida Office Brokers Association, International Council of Shopping Centers, Lighthouse Point, Deerfield Beach and Pompano Beach Chambers of Commerce. In addition, John has served on the board of directors of the Building Association of South Florida, the Florida Home Builders Association and National Association of Home Builders. He has also served on the Executive Committee and was co-chairman of the Commercial Builders Council for the Building Association of South Florida. John also served on the Programs Committee and is an UrbanPlan volunteer for the Urban Land Institute in Southeast Florida. In January of 2009 John was inducted into the Builders League of South Jersey’s Hall of Fame.
John currently holds a Florida’s broker’s license and also earned an MBA from Nova Southeastern University in 2003. John earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Rowan University in Glassboro NJ. Other relevant real estate education includes numerous completed courses with the Realtors Commercial Alliance, Realtor Association of Greater Ft. Lauderdale and the Temple Real Estate Institute in Philadelphia, PA.
John’s outside activities include being a team leader for Habitat for Humanity, the San Isidro Christmas food drive and the Lighthouse Point Tennis Advisory Committee. He has been a Lighthouse Point resident for over 25 years.
